WESTERN WILD LIFE TOUR ODISHA

      2 Nights & 3 Days
      SIMILIPAL WILD LIFE TOUR
Similipal, the National Park covering an area of 2750 Sq Kms, out of which 303 sq km form the core area, this biosphere reserve is a sanctuary and one of the nine Tiger-Projects in India. About 1076 species of plants, 87 species of orchids, 42 species of mammals, 29 types of reptiles and 231 species of birds are the proud possession of this plateau.  For a nature loving tourist the entire Park with its evergreen Sal Forests, extensive grassy lands and Luxuriant Waterfalls provide an element of abiding interest. The panoramic view of the waterfalls at Barehipani (400 meters ) and Joranda (150 meters) are simply enchanting. An epitome of fascinating beauties, Similipal beckons you for a sojourn of its mind boggling interiors.
Day 01:- During morning drive to Baripada , the entry point to Similipal. After permit drive to LULUNG tourist bunglow, the footstep of Similipal . If lucky, meet across some wild animals like wild Boer, Deer etc.  Overnight stay at Lulung or Chahala.

Day 02:- Drive to Zoronda if lucky enroute meet across  wild animals. Overnight stay at ZORONDA or BARAIPANI overlooking the waterfall. If wish wild animals can be watched from the nearby watch tower.
Day 03:- Drive down to baridpada enroute visit Baraipani waterfall to your next destination.
Note:- The tour can be started and ended from Balasore  which is a  close accessible point from  Kolkata. The itinerary can be extended or reduced as per the interest of the client.
Necessary entry permits required from the forest Department to visit and stay inside the Park.

2 Nights & 3 Days

BHITARKANIAKA WILD LIFE TOUR
The Bhitarkanika sanctuary, widely acclaimed for its biodiversity in flora and fauna, is the second largest compact mangrove ecosystem in India. covering an area of 650 Sq. Km. is one of the best sanctuaries in the state as well in the country. Lying alongside the Bay of Bengal is an enchanting mangrove forest and a crocodile sanctuary, protecting the estuarine crocodiles from 1975 and declared as a National Park in 1998.
Bounded by rivers Brahmani, Dhamra & Baitarani on the three sides and the sea on the fourth, Bhitarkanika is criss crossed by numerous creeks and canals which finally meets the  sea and
make the estuarine delta, the play ground of the Ben of Bengal.
A thrilling experience awaits you as you trek into the mangrove forest.  Bhitarkanika is the natural habitat of The largest population of estuarine crocodile and Olive Ridley sea Turtles and other wild creatures like King Cobra, Pythohs, wild pigs Rhesus Monkey, Sambars Spotted Dear etc.  Water Monitor Lizards, Pythons, Wild Pigs are seen. The Birds Island with spotted deers are otherattraction to the sanctuary.

'Gahir Matha' sea beach, at a distance of 3.3 kms from Dangmal Forest Rest House is perhaps the Largest Turtle breeding beach in the World.


Day 01:-
During morning drive to Bhadrak and further drive to Chandbali overnight at Chandbali tourist Lodge. Enjoy the boat ride through creeks of the mangrove forest. Enter the core area where you can meet across different species of King fishers, wild animals like spotted dear, wild boor etc and crocodile basking in the sun.  Overnight stay in Dangamal tourist lodge. 

Day 02:-
During morning take the boat to Bagaghana where you can meet   different species of migratory birds, the annual congregation from July to November. Birds like open Billed storks, Egrets, Herons, White Ibis, Lasser Adjutant Storks, Snake Birds, Green Pigeon, Emerald Pigeon, Indian Robin, Jungle fowl etc. During afternoon trek in the forest where there is the chance of meeting  across different species of reptiles and wild animals. Boat back to  Dangamala for overnight stay in the tourist bunglow. 

Day 03: -
During morning boat back to the main land Chandbali and after lunch drive to Bhadrak to board the train for your next destination. 

Note:-
The tour can be started and ended from Bhadrak   which is a lose accessible point from  Kolkata. The itinerary can be extended or reduced as per the interest of the client. Necessary entry permits required from the forest Department to visit and stay inside the Sanctuary.
